About Our Camp Counselors
Our camp counselors are carefully selected, trained
and placed to create the most effective camp team. Camp staff receive
extensive training in sensitivity awareness, safety precautions,
designing age-appropriate activities, child development, conflict
resolution, appropriate discipline, team building and first aid. A high
staff-to-camper ratio allows for the providing of more individualized
attention. A large percentage of our counselors return each summer to
re-experience the magic of camp.
Project Challah
As a service to our families we sell Kosher challahs
for Shabbat. The challahs are distributed on Friday afternoons. See camp
application for price.
General Information
A completed health form must be submitted by May
30, 2008 in order to attend camp.
Each camper receives one camp T-shirt.
Kosher snacks and drinks are provided to all
campers daily at approximately 3:00 pm.
Host an Israeli Shaliach
Families are needed to host our 2008 Shlichim. These
talented staff members have been selected to work as specialists at our
camp. Throughout the summer, they teach our campers about the history
and culture of Israel through stories, games, sons, dances and crafts.
Campers and host families form life-long friendships with our Shlichim.
If you would like to invite one of the Shlichim to
live with you for a 2 - 4 week period during the summer, please contact
Laura Gotlin at 718-475-5267
