Marvin Weissglass Camp for Children with Special Needs
(formerly Camp Tikvah)

Ages: 6 - teens
Camp Director: Christine Johnson
6 week program: July 7 - August 22, 2008
(Interview required for all campers in this program)

The Marvin Weissglass Camp for children with special needs
provides an educational, creative, socially and emotionally
safe environment for children and teens with special needs
that are not able to meet the socialization demands of
traditional day camps.

Children experience a full day of recreational activities, including
daily swimming, sports, arts and crafts, music, boating, karate,
cheerleading, pioneering, special event days and more. The program
also includes weekly trips to places like Keansburg Amusement Park and Fun Time America.

The Weissglass Camp employs a dedicated staff which receives special training in working with children with special needs.
Our small groups and low camper to counselor ratio enables us to provide excellent care and attention to each camper.
The camp is committed to providing children with a positive and enriching day camp experience and to enhancing the
camper’s activities of daily living.
