Ages: Children entering grades 4 – 8th
Camp Director: Cheryl Armitage Bergeron
Camp
Dates: June 30 – July 25 (4 weeks)
Full day program
Our camp is designed for children who are interested in Fine and
Performing Arts. Participants choose their activities and enter
tracks based on their individual needs. Professional musicians and
artists provide challenging level of experience in one of the “major
‘area of study, in which students are expected to show proficiency.
This year we offer vocal, instrumental and visual arts. Students
also select a “minor” area of study, such as group piano and visual
arts, in which they would like to explore. Students are expected to
be at an intermediate level or better for their majors, however all
minor classes will be given at a beginner level. Related workshops
will also be given and weekly related trips to cultural sites and a
daily swim round out the arts experience. The camp culminates in an
art exhibit and an end of camp performance.
