The JCC, through funding from the New York State
Department of Health, offers youth between the ages of 13-18
the opportunity to be involved in a youth led tobacco
prevention program. The emphasis is on active youth engagement
and leadership.
Participants will gain a better understanding of the tobacco
industry’s deceptive marketing and advertising tactics as well
as the health implications of tobacco use. This initiative
gives youth a new perspective on how and what they can do to
fight tobacco.
