“Chesed” means
kindness. The JCC of Staten Island, in con-junction with several
local synagogues, is pleased to announce the “Chesed
Connections” Program. We in the Jewish community would like to
extend our care and support to those in need. This partnership
offers an opportunity for a social worker to provide a wide
range of professional, supportive and concrete services to the
older adults within the synagogue environment. Chesed
Connections offers:

Visitations to frail and homebound seniors
• Support groups
• Individual counseling
• Friendly phone calls
• Lectures and workshops
• Community outreach for Chesed projects
• Information and assistance on NYC entitlements
All services are strictly confidential. "Chesed Connections"
